Hi, I’m Angel — the heart behind Lake Paws.

I started Lake Paws because I know what it feels like to leave your pets with someone else and hope they’re treated like family. As a veteran, a mom, a wife, and a lifelong animal lover, responsibility and care aren’t just business values to me — they’re personal ones.

Before starting Lake Paws, I cared for over 100 animals on a private farm. From senior dogs who need patience and gentleness to high-energy pups who need structure and stimulation, I’ve learned that every animal is different — and deserves individualized attention.

I built Lake Paws around one simple promise: your pets will never feel like just another appointment on a schedule. They will be known, understood, and cared for with consistency.

Whether it’s a midday walk, vacation care, or extra support during busy seasons, I want paw parents in Lake County IL and the surrounding communities to feel calm knowing someone dependable is showing up.
